I will be attached to the USS Bush and will be deploying regularly according to the ships schedule. I will need temp foster care during these periods for my 2 year old AM Staff Chief. She is the most loving and friendly dog and would do well in any enviornment, particularly with children or the elderly.
If you are willing to help a Soldier during her deployment it would be greatly appreciated. |

| 3/6/2010 | Friendly cat needs home - Sammy is 8 months old, is spayed, and is up to date on all shots. She was rescued from an animal shelter when she was just a tiny kitten. Her personality is fantastic - she purrs loudly and constantly, licks hands like a dog, crawls under blankets to go to sleep, and is very playful and inquisitive. I have become very attached to Sammy, but I am being sent on long TDY overseas, and as soon as I am back from that I am outprocessing for a year-long deployment, so I am looking for a good home for this little girl. She is an adorable grey and white kitten with short hair and big amber eyes. |

| 3/9/2010 | Deploying need permanent home for older cat - I have a very very loyal loving cat who right now is misbehaving because of the chaos in our house. My husband is deploying for one year to Afghanistan and Scooter is not doing well with this - as he is my husband's cat. There are 2 other cats at home. They are younger. Even though everyone is "fixed" - Scooter has become very aggressive towards them and now to my little girl. I think the best thing I can do for Scooter is to find him a new home --- he needs a home where he is the ONLY cat --- but the new owner will love him ---- |
